TYPES OF TESTS
Pre-Employment Test
Pre-employment polygraph testing is a standard pre-employment screening procedure for companies or organisations, especially in sectors that involve finance and sensitive information handling.

- To establishing candidate’s credibility and trustworthiness in dealing with others within your field.
- To ensure candidate can be trusted with sensitive information or responsibilities that he/she will be handling.
- To assess if candidate can be relied upon as a trustworthy team member.
- To ensure candidate is not involved in any activities that could pose a security risk to the company/organisation.

Criminal Defence Support Services
- Polygraph is sometimes used by attorneys who wish to provide the best possible defence for their clients.
Therapeutic Test
This test is usually administered at the request of therapists and treatment providers. Our experts will work closely with the treatment provider to design the most appropriate type of exam to integrate into the therapeutic process. Therapeutic disclosure testing are usually conducted about 6 months and then another one at one year post-disclosure.
Common topics covered in therapeutic tests:
- Relationship and Marital Issues – In a case of a unfaithful partner who is trying to put things right, he/she needs the other half to have faith in him/her. In the early stages of relationship recovery, it is difficult to trust anything because of the history of deception. Polygraph should not be used as a punishment against the person who was unfaithful. It is a great tool to help rebuild psychological and emotional safety, and diminish at least some uncertainty in their partner. At the relationship recovery stage, honesty and empathy are two important attributes. The culpable party’s willingness to be transparent and verify his/her honesty by taking a polygraph is a reliable tool that can give the couple some hope.
Potential benefits of polygraph testing for Couples Therapy:
- Resolving Doubts: Polygraph tests can provide a means to address suspicions or doubts about infidelity, or other significant issues within a relationship.
- Rebuilding Trust: If the results of a polygraph test are positive, it can help rebuild trust and strengthen a relationship that has been damaged by suspicion.
- Providing Closure: For couples dealing with uncertainty, a polygraph test can offer a sense of closure, allowing them to move forward with their relationship or make difficult decisions.
- Encouraging Honesty: The prospect of a polygraph test can incentivize partners to be honest with each other, fostering open communication and transparency.
- Encouraging Open Communication: The process of discussing and agreeing to a polygraph can open up lines of communication between partners, allowing them to address underlying issues and concerns.
- Discouraging Compulsive Liars: Individuals with a compulsion to stretch the truth may be discouraged from telling excessive falsehoods if they know a polygraph exam could be in their not-too-distant future.
- Sex Addiction Testing
- Maintenance Testing
- Addiction to Drugs
- Addiction to Alcohol
While polygraph tests can provide a sense of clarity and resolution in certain situations, it’s important to consult with a professional therapist or counselor before making a decision. These tests are not infallible, can have emotional consequences, and can be emotionally taxing, especially if the results indicate deception. It’s essential to approach the process with caution.

- Post-Test Analysis: After the test, the results are analyzed by our certified examiners to determine whether the examinee’s responses indicate truthfulness or deception.
